Selected work
Three sites, each built to solve a different problem.
Every project starts with research. The answer is different each time because the businesses are different. That is why there is no menu of predetermined packages and no Fallow & Blade template waiting to be filled with somebody else’s content. These are three examples.

Macaulay Consulting
Consulting · Brisbane
The problemCaroline works with clients in health, education, and human services. Her credibility is carried by more than her website. The proposals, reports, presentations, and other documents she sends are part of the same experience, so they needed to feel like they came from the same business.
What we builtWe built the website and brand system, then carried it through the documents Caroline uses with clients. The result is not simply a website with matching stationery but a consistent visual and verbal system that works wherever the business meets a client.
Why it mattersA consultant’s credibility is distributed across every interaction. If the website looks considered but the document that follows it does not, the impression is weakened at exactly the point when the relationship is becoming more serious.

Margo Turnbull
Academic · Brisbane
The problemMargo’s scholarly identity was spread across university pages, publisher sites, and research databases. Those places were useful, but none of them was hers to control. The problem was not a lack of information. It was the lack of a clear home for it.
What we builtWe built a citable site independent of her university. It brings together her profile, research, and publications in a form that can be read by people and cited by other researchers. Alongside the site is a citation inventory and review process that helps keep the public record current without requiring Margo to maintain every part of it herself.
Why it mattersAn academic’s public record is part of their reputation. It can become fragmented or outdated without anyone noticing until someone needs the information. A proper home gives the record somewhere to come back to.

Fallow & Blade Acreage Services
Trades · Studio’s own
DisclosureThis is the studio’s own sister business. It is included because it is real work for a real trade. It is not here because a client asked us to show it.
The problemThe enquiries worth winning come from steep and difficult blocks, the jobs ordinary mowing operators often do not want to take on. The site therefore had to establish capability quickly. Someone arriving on a phone needed to understand what the business did, whether it worked in their area, and how to make contact.
What we builtA plain, capable site that leads with the terrain and the work itself. It makes the service area clear and puts the enquiry route where people can find it. It is static, so it stays fast on a phone and costs very little to run.
Why it mattersA trades enquiry is often made while someone is standing in the thing the job is about. The site needs to work in that moment, not merely look good in a browser review.
Start a conversation
One business dayIf you think the studio might be a fit, send a short description of what you need. Andrew will reply within one business day. If it looks suitable, the next step is a free thirty-minute conversation. There is no obligation until you accept a written proposal.
